Matt reveals to us the ingenuity of his inner johnny through his new deck: a combo deck featuring bitter ordeal, heartless summoning, myr retriever, and other "friends".  Definitely suitable for those of you just out to have some fun and pick up some off-the-wall kills on MTGO or at FNM.  On the more competitive note: Marshall discusses the possibility of playing tarmogoyf over young pyromancer in the latest boogey-man deck, UR delver.  As always, lists are linked in the show notes (see below for details).  Up for the next show, a deck featuring thopter foundry from Marshall.

Marshall does a brief report on a small event including the preparation process and how it was important to the experience.  Turns out quickly building and playing decks in the blind allows for quite a learning experience.  The decks that we played were BUG Delver and Eternal Command (that was slightly budget).  On an unrelated note, Treasure Cruise and Dig Through Time have piqued our interest so we gave it a bit of our discussion on this podcast as well.

This week's listener question will be for the next couple of weeks: What card would you like to see someone play in modern that isn't already seeing much play?  In regards to this question, we will pick one of the cards suggested and build a deck around it and discuss it in a future episode.  Please send your responses to the email or leave it in the comments here.
